The Coterie, a downtown opera-theater company devoted to developing contemporary music theater works, will present an evening of new theatre songs, featuring the premiere of my "Love in Cinnamon, Love in Dill," commissioned by librettist and Coterie co-founder, Royce Vavrek.
CME will be performing on the Portland String Quartet's Concert Series. New works by Alex Weiser, Osnat Netzer, Florent Ghys, Timothy Andres, and Conrad Winslow. This will be the first time any of these pieces are performed in Maine!
CME performs ABIDING SHAPES on the Second Annual Sounds of Arts Festival. Music includes premieres by Jay Lin and Yui Kitamura.

The evening will also feature five new works. Composers Conrad Winslow, Danielle Schwob, Enrico Arcaro, Andrew Struck-Marcell, and Matt Giannotti will have their music showcased with world premiere choreography by Selina Chau, Nellie Rainwater, Amy Miller, and Jason Jordan. Pieces frame Debussy's famous Sonata for flute, viola, and harp.
