Carry the Tune is a severe fantasy on a melody: the harmonies, textures, and overall shape of the piece spring exclusively from the material of the melody.

I founded Wild Shore New Music, a presenting organization in South-central Alaska dedicated to the music of living composers with my dear friends Andie Springer and Katie Cox. I composed the work to give us something to play together.
